The Vikings selected the Virginia product in the second round (34th overall) of the 2010 draft. Cook was an All-Atlantic Coast Conference first-team selection last season after starting all 12 games and recording four interceptions. Minnesota also signed fourth-round defensive end Everson Griffen, fifth-round guard Chris DeGeare and seventh-round tight end Mickey Shuler.
